For the most recent assignment in class we had to do a mini story for a 3-5 photo package. I shot the people who take care of the rose garden at SU. They are called rosarians and their job is dead heading (cutting off the dead rose heads).

I was walking down marshal street to get some lunch and saw this man coming my way. There was something about him that I just had to take a photo. It’s back focused, poorly exposed and poorly toned but there is something about this picture that I love. There are so many questions I have about this person… All critique is welcome. Hate it love it? Is this a horrible photo? Let me know.

This weekend I traveled to Skaneateles and Green Lakes. Both are a half hour outside of syracuse and really enjoyed myself.
